We all want our children to have good character, clear values, build self-esteem, develop life-long friendships, and learn crucial life skills like leadership, communication, and teamwork. Scouting uses fun programs to accomplish this, often without the child knowing that he or she is learning or growing.
Let's Get Outside!
Technology dependence, screen time, and youth behavior on social media concern many parents. Scouting is one solution, as we are doing activities without the tech, especially when we are outdoors. As our children get older, this solution is even more important.
Leaders Needed
The make-or-break for every volunteer-run children's organization is the volunteer adult leaders. We need registered adults to work directly with the youth. We also need a committee which handles the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of the pack, allowing the Cubmaster and Den Leaders to focus on the youth.
